Clever retrofit solution of main beam assist. When driving at night, the main beam assist carries out the routine tasks of raising or dipping the main beam. This improves the view for the driver and ensures for an improvement in comfort through relaxed driving. The main beam is automatically switched on or off depending on the traffic situation. The system automatically detects headlights of oncoming traffic, rear lights of other road users and light sources in urban areas, within the limits of the system.
